Your Conservative Councillors for Upper Norwood are:
Our pledges for Upper Norwood
The people of Croydon returned a Conservative council in May 2010. In Upper Norwood we promised to:
Ensure that, at a minimum, we match Lambeth’s current contribution to the Upper Norwood Joint Library, continuing the Conservative commitment to the library
Work with our colleagues in Lambeth and on the GLA to campaign for and secure a safe pedestrian crossing at the junction of Westow Street and Gipsy Hill
Continue to oppose inappropriate development in Upper Norwood that has a negative impact on the local environment and local residents’ quality of life
Campaign for a cinema for Crystal Palace as well as supporting local residents and businesses to regenerate our district centre through the introduction of an area action plan
Make our streets safer by working with our local police to tackle anti-social behaviour, ensure that reported fly-tipping and graffiti are removed promptly and by campaigning for traffic calming measures in roads that need them
Please do contact us with any issues or concerns you may have. We answer all our constituents' correspondence and value your comments. If you want your concern addressed by your local team, please follow the link above.
