We have been advised that due to a sewer blockage, Thames Water need to replace a faulty sewer cover in Farley Road at its junction with Foxearth Road. This requires excavation works. Therefore a closure of Farley Road from Addington Road to Foxearth Road is required. Foxearth Road will also be closed at its junction with Farley Road.
The Council will also take this opportunity to see if the sunken carriageway at the junction of Farley Road and Addingotn Road at the traffic lights can also be repaired at the same time. We very much hope this happens as we have been asking of the works to take place for over 6 months.
Displaced traffic will be diverted via:,Addington Road, Selsdon Pak Road, Gravel Hill, Ballards Way.
Displaced traffic for Foxearth Road will be via Rylandes Road.
Some buses will be diverted via Queenhill Road with parking suspensions in place.
This closure will be night works only between 22:00—3:00 for one night and all noisy works are to take place before midnight.
We hope this work is carried out as quickly as possible and the disruption is minimal.
