Today Croydon goes to the polls to decide who will run the Council for the next four years. It's not about national issues, it's about the bread and butter services that you need in your community.
Whoever you usually support at the elections, remember what Labour have done over the last four years.
Tens of thousands of you have signed petitions, made up placards and marched on Croydon Town Hall. From 'Save Shirley' and protecting Fairfield Halls, to keeping our most vulnerable children safe and stopping Brick by Brick concreting over our precious green spaces - since 2014 an unprecedented outcry of public pain has been heard right across our borough.
But what did Labour do? They ignored you and pressed on anyway. They just didn't listen.
In 2014 they ran on a manifesto to be the most open and transparent Council ever. Have they demonstrated that they are anything more than the most closed and secretive Council ever?
Today you can vote for a change. Today you can send a strong message that you will not be taken for granted.
We Conservatives think we have the ideas and the vision to make Croydon a better place to live and work. Our manifesto has been written after truly listening to you - right across the borough.
But whomever you vote for tomorrow - don't vote for Labour.
Spread the word, tell everyone you know in Croydon - they simply don't deserve to be re-elected after the way they've treated you.
