What will we do if elected?

  • We will hold two surgeries per month, one in the north of the ward and one in the south and arrange home visits if requested. We will keep you informed with an In-Touch every three months to tell you what we are doing and to find out what is concerning you (paid for from Conservative funds not by Council Tax payers). We will hold regular public meetings to discuss local issues and we will publicise our contact details and ensure you receive a response to any enquiry within three days.
  • If we see graffiti in the ward we will have it removed within 10 days.
  • Anti-social behaviour – will be made worse by Labour extending pub licensing hours. We will create a sensible policy for late bars and clubs and lobby the police for more officers on patrol at key times.
  • Over-development – we will oppose new housing plans that are not in keeping with the area and which stretch local services.
  • We are campaigning for more police on the street and the faster roll-out of Safer Neighbourhood police teams across London.
