A little about the team.....
Peter Kirby A respected resident of Croydon, Peter is married with 3 grown up children and 4 grandchildren. He is a graduate of the Institute of Purchasing and Supply and spent 38 years in local government working for the LCC and the GLC. For the last 20 years Peter has been self employed and currently runs a business as a private tour operator taking clients all over the UK.
Peter is an active member of the community and has been a member of St Mary’s Church in Addington for 28 years. He is also a member of the Addington Community Association. If elected, Peter is looking forward to representing the residents of New Addington and addressing the issues that matter to them.
Tony Pearson Tony is 39 and lives in New Addington. He is married and lives with his wife, Maria, and three stepsons. Tony is known throughout New Addington due to his many years work with the Nautical Training Corps of which he was a member for 25 years, and served time as Commanding Officer of local unit T.S. Exeter (now T.S. Defiance) based at Fishers Farm. Tony has also served as a Governor of Selsdon High School, including two years as Chair of Governors. As a resident of many years, Tony loathes the way Labour has conspired to strip residents of their community, instead treating New Addington as a dumping ground for anything they don’t want elsewhere in Croydon. Tony says “The time has come for our Community to reclaim our town.” Tony hopes for your support on May 4th and for the chance to represent you for the next 4 years. |
